Love this place!!! The service is always great. Their Mayfield Whitehouse cherry vanilla ice cream is the absolute best! Whenever I'm up at Tipton Creek visiting friends, I do not hesitate to take the thirty minute drive down the mountain daily for three scoops and a waffle cone.😋🍦

Omg! We just moved down the street from this awesome place. I went in for something for lunch. What!?? Homemade sandwiches? Today we tried the Italian subs. Phenomenal. I ordered dinner for tonight as it was chicken parm casserole night. I picked them up later and reheated for dinner. Oh my! It also came with garlic bread and a salad! What a wonderful place! We are never leaving Murphy and I may never cook again!

When you live as far from town as we do, we down here in Beaverdam are so thankful to have Hanging Dog General Store!! They carry most anything you could possibly want. The staff are always super nice and it is always smelling clean when you walk in (unless pizza is cookin'!! Then it smells tasty 😋)☺️. Love this little store and the staff, and we are so very thankful to have it in our community!!

This is by far one of the best stores around. It’s perfect for our small town and they have some of the best ice cream ever. The people who work there are absolutely sweet and it’s like they know everyone and they’re always so friendly.
